Get to Know Our Board of Directors
The Bantam Lake Protective Association Board of Directors is a group of volunteers who care about preserving and protecting Bantam Lake for future generations. This board is made up of local residents, business owners, recreation enthusiasts, and conservationists who share a common passion for the lake and its stewardship. We volunteer our time and skills to coordinate water quality testing, invasive weed treatments, watershed monitoring, fundraising through grant applications, member engagement, and public outreach events, such as our annual 5K.

Connie Trolle, Board President
Connie is a lifelong steward of Bantam Lake, where she spent her childhood summers and now lives year-round. She has served as President of the Bantam Lake Protective Association for the past 25 years, leading efforts to protect the lake from threats such as blue-green algae and invasive species.
Connie has also served as President of the Connecticut Federation of Lakes and as member of the Morris Inland Wetlands Commission. Through her leadership, she has played a key role in advancing statewide legislation that funds critical programs addressing aquatic invasive species and cyanobacteria blooms. Connie is deeply committed to preserving Bantam Lake so future generations can enjoy it as she once did.
